"Book" Bag

Wow! What a response! This afternoon I pinned this cute idea for "Book" bags:
Seen on Sweet Tidings via Country Living

Two hours later and 54 re-pins already!

I get it, its a totally gorgeous idea and the tutorial looks kinda easy too - my favourite kind!

Happy Thursday!

Work Gets in the Way!!

So... its been a while since my last post. Unfortunately, I have been flat out in the real world - working. That four letter word seems to get in the way of all the fun things I'd rather be doing!
Still, there has been some time for pinning. Here are two of my recent favourites:

How gorgeous are these Pinwheel Cake Toppers?!?!

Wouldn't they look great on one of those rainbow cakes I see on Pinterest all the time?

Hope you're having a great weekend - not doing too much work! Its been lovely and sunny here in my little corner of the Blue Mountains, I guess summer thought it better to be late than never!

Popular Pins - Craft / Quilting

I Pinned the "Quilt Class 101"  tutorials by the sweet & talented Bec over at Chasing Cottons on the weekend - Seems like a few of you could do with a hand getting started in the world of Quilt making too! Good Luck!

Today has been a fun and relaxing day, we spent the morning Geocaching and came home to sort my embroidery thread and finish a few "UFO's".

Hope you've had a great start to the week whatever you've been up to!

Popular Pins - Craft

My most followed board on Pinterest is my "Craft" board. It seems a few others out there share my taste!

I try to find craft ideas that are either designed or created here in Australia or, ideas that would be easy to make here in Oz. So often I see blog posts from super-talented crafty people with awesome ideas only to realise that some of the items required are only available overseas. Dissapointing!

Also, I like to support home-made and Australian-made where I can.

Today I posted these little cuties from Caftiness is Not Optional. The re-pins went crazy! Not a new post from the lovely and clever Jess, but a popular one just the same. So cute and super easy! (Two of my favourite types of crafting!)

Hope you're having a great weekend!
